About Me

I am a mother of three children, and until recently, I had always had carpeted floors. I grew up with carpeted floors, and our first home came with them. When we recently moved into a larger home when we were expecting our third child, we fell in love with a home with hardwood flooring. I loved the look of them, but I did not expect them to make a huge difference in my life like they did. While carpeting did have its benefits, I do not miss cleaning up stains that my children made in them every day and the constant vacuuming they needed. Having wood floors makes my life much easier. I created this blog to help share my experience with other busy parents. I learned that a small change in a home can make your life much easier when you have children.
